BBC Proms in the Park
3 days - by rail

Price from £229.95 per person*
Departs 8th Sep 2017

Single person supplement : £100.00 per person

Park your shooting stick (or folding chair) in the Park for a sensational night at Britain's largest outdoor classical music event as the Last Night of the Proms kicks off concurrently in Hyde Park and the nearby Royal Albert Hall this autumn.

While the Albert Hall crowd will be sitting sedately through Zoltán Kodály, Malcolm Sargent and Sibelius, we'll be partying in the Park with Michael Ball hosting a superb line–up including Steps, Texas, Elaine Paige, Gilbert O'Sullivan and Sir Bryn Terfel, plus of course the BBC Concert Orchestra conducted by Richard Balcombe. There's even a surprise headline act still to be announced...

In the second part of the evening, we link up live with the audience at the Albert Hall for the traditional Last Night finale, so we can roar together through Rule Britannia, Jerusalem and Land of Hope and Glory until there's not a pigeon in London without tinnitus.

London's always memorable, but this experience will be unforgettable, and this great value Omega break comes with a Saturday ticket plus rail travel, two nights at your choice of central 4 star hotels with breakfast, and three days in London.

Food & Drink

There is a variety of stalls at the event selling both hot and cold food and drinks. There are also bars selling a wide range of beers, wine, spirits and soft drinks. You can take your own picnic if you wish, but please be aware that no glass will be permitted on site, except for sparkling wine (including Champagne, cava, prosecco) with a maximum size of 750ml as this cannot be purchased in non–glass bottles. Quantities of alcoholic drinks are limited – adults aged 18 years and over can take wine in plastic or cardboard containers up to 1 litre per person, or 4 cans of alcohol per person. You can take soft drinks too. BBQs are not permitted.

Please visit the Proms in the Park for more information about permitted and forbidden items.

Hotel check–ins are normally around 3pm but if you like you can go directly to your hotel and leave your luggage with reception. Check in at the hotel when you're ready to enjoy the first of your two nights' stay.

Saturday   After a full English breakfast you have the day at leisure to enjoy in London. Gates open at Hyde Park at 3pm, and the show starts at 5.15pm. Artists will be performing on a stage, and there will also be two large screens adjacent to the stage. The organisers advise you to keep an eye on the weather – it may be hot during the day but bring some warm clothing as it can get chilly on September evenings. There is likely to be a firework finale at the end of the event. And yes, you can bring your own folding chair or shooting stick.

Sunday   Breakfast today, and then another day at leisure until it's time to make your way to the station for your train in the mid to late afternoon.
