Buckingham Palace and The Grosvenor Hotel; two of London's leading architectural treasures from an era when a very particular style and decadent way of life was the norm for the aristocracy and elite of the time. With this Omega package you can take a sneaky peek into that other world as you stay overnight at the sumptuous Grosvenor Hotel, with full English breakfast, then take the short stroll to Buckingham Palace and your chance to see the State Rooms, many of them little changed since 'Buckingham House' became 'Buckingham Palace' in the 19th century.

Buckingham Palace's nineteen State Rooms are predominantly decorated in the taste of George IV (r. 1820–1830), who commissioned the architect John Nash to transform what had previously been known as Buckingham House into a grand palace. Many of the pieces of furniture, sparkling chandeliers, candelabra and other works of art in these rooms were originally bought or made for Carlton House, George IV's London home when he was Prince of Wales. Today the State Rooms are furnished with many of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection, including paintings by Van Dyck and Canaletto, sculpture by Canova, exquisite pieces of Sèvres porcelain, and some of the finest English and French furniture in the world.

As well as the Palace treasures, there are bound to be other sights in London you want to see, so if you want to stay longer (and who wouldn't, frankly) you can stay an extra night at The Grosvenor for just £79.95pp.
